Doctoral Recital Celebration
Cheryl
Jones
, of the musical group Jones and Company, has spent the past few years
working toward her Doctorate in Education and has recently successfully defended
her dissertation. She is planning a Doctoral Recital Celebration for Wednesday
August 17th, 2005, to be held at The University of West Florida, Fort Walton
Beach Campus in the Auditorium (next to the Library) on
Martin Luther King Blvd.
The recital begins at
7pm
.
Cheryl
will be hooded at this event.
The
Recital also includes musical performance by
Dr.
Michael
Barry
and
Dr.
Lynne
Lauderdale
, of The University West Florida, and features a reading of the poetry of
John
C.
Cavanaugh
, President of The University of West Florida. A special performance by the
locally renowned Jones and Company is scheduled for the event.
Admission
to the recital is free, however, due to limited seating, it is recommended for
those interested in attending, to pick up complimentary tickets from area
location in order to assure entry to this special event.
Tickets are available at AJ’s in Destin (at the Tee-shirt Shop),
Playground Music in Fort Walton Beach Florida (Uptown Station), Porter’s
Bar-B-Q in Niceville (4677 Hwy 20), The University of West Florida in Pensacola
(at the bookstore).
